The YATO YT-82458 combined soldering station is a multifunctional, high-quality, and efficient PRO-class device that combines the functions of conventional heating and soldering stations. The station operates a 908D type soldering iron with a ceramic heating element (operating voltage 24V), suitable for interchangeable 900M series tips, and a hot air gun with a ceramic heating element, which is equipped with a top-class contactless electronically commutated (brushless) motor.
The device is manufactured using ESD-Safe technology, which eliminates excess electrostatic charge from the device's housing, thus reducing the risk to sensitive SMD type circuits. Two digital LED screens with blue backlighting. The soldering iron heats up from room temperature to an operating temperature of 350°C in approximately 15 seconds, and the hot air gun in 10 seconds. The station has a 1m long power cable.
The YATO YT-82458 combined soldering station has the following functions:
- temperature stabilization function allows maintaining the set tip temperature under various heat demand conditions to ensure proper soldering. The tip, depending on the size of the soldered element and the soldering area, emits varying amounts of heat, and the device, with the help of an integrated tip temperature sensor, constantly reads the actual value of the emitted heat, compares it with the set parameters, and, depending on the need, increases or decreases energy consumption to maintain the set temperature
- hibernation function allows switching the station to standby mode, which automatically reduces the operating temperature to 200°C. This function prevents unnecessary tip heating and significantly extends its service life. The inactivity time of the YT-82458 soldering station, after which the device will automatically enter standby mode, is 10 minutes
- automatic cooling function, together with the hibernation function, allows cooling the hot air gun to 100°C and then entering standby mode. After finishing work, the user must place the hot air gun in the plastic holder with an integrated sensor, then the hot air gun cools down, and the device automatically enters standby mode. When the hot air gun is lifted from the holder, the device automatically turns on according to the previously set parameters
- automatic fault detection function allows automatic diagnosis of the condition of the device's electrical circuits. When the power button is pressed, the station performs self-diagnosis and, if problems arise, displays an error message
