The YATO brushless cordless drill-driver is a versatile tool designed for assembly, installation, and finishing work. It enables screwdriving, non-impact drilling, and impact drilling in select mineral materials. A maximum torque of 55 Nm, a two-speed gearbox, and a brushless motor ensure optimal performance for both precision assembly and drilling into wood, brick, and metal.
Its compact, 1 kg design makes working in various positions easy, while the YATO 18 V system compatibility allows for the use of standard Li-Ion batteries. A 13 mm keyless chuck, variable speed control, and an impact function further expand the tool's range of applications.
Brushless motor superior ergonomics and high power
The use of a brushless motor minimises wear-prone components and ensures efficient battery energy usage. The motor is engineered to handle intensive assembly and drilling tasks that require substantial torque.
A maximum torque of 55 Nm allows for efficient screwdriving, even when working with more demanding materials. 3 operating modes
The drill/driver allows you to tailor its operation to the specific task at hand:
screwdriving for assembly work using bits, including driving screws into metal or wood and installing wall plugs
drilling (non-impact) for making holes in wood, wood-based materials, metal, and ceramic tiles
impact drilling for making holes in mineral materials, brick, silicate blocks, and porous ceramics
Switching between settings allows a single compact tool to be used across various stages of assembly and finishing work.
Two-speed gearbox
The drill/driver features a mechanical switch for two speed ranges:
1st gear: 0450 rpm primarily for screwdriving
2nd gear: 01800 rpm for drilling and impact drilling
This setup allows the tool's performance characteristics to be better matched to the task. Additionally, variable speed control via the trigger makes it easier to manage the start of drilling or screwdriving operations.
13 mm drill chuck
The 13 mm keyless chuck accommodates a wide range of drill bits and driver bits. Its design ensures quick accessory changes without the need for a separate key, while providing a secure, centred hold. Smooth torque and speed control from the lowest RPM
An adjustment ring allows you to tailor the torque to the specific assembly task and the properties of the material being worked on. This facilitates controlled driving and minimises the risk of driving screws too deep or damaging their heads.
LED lighting
Built-in LED lighting improves visibility at the work area. It makes it easier to guide the tool precisely when working in dimly lit spaces, such as inside cabinets or in low-light conditions.
YATO 18 V battery power
The tool operates using 18 V Li-Ion batteries, ensuring mobility and freedom of movement without a power cord. Depending on the chosen version, the drill-driver is available as a complete set with a battery and charger or as a tool-only version.
